I find it hard enough getting out of the door with the help of Mr DC so I’m not entirely sure why I thought it was a good idea today to stop for lunch by myself with my 1 +1
It is the end of a very long week, with babies having been poorly. Continue reading Sickness, cuddles and sleepless nights.
Routine… do you love them or hate them? Well I like to think I am Spontaneous and free but Since having children I have discovered I actually love a routine. I like to know what I’m doing, what time, where it is and what I need. Continue reading Routine… Love them or hate them
No this is not a blog about a well known blue and white striped supermarket that goes by the name of Tesco. But more about help with our little ones. Continue reading Every Little Helps
I do have good intentions when it comes to arts and craft, and sensory activities for Mop Top. You see photos on the net of perfect activities set up and perfect art work created. Well the reality in my house is not that perfect image. Continue reading Fun Activity #1
So yesterday I turned 29. (16th of October 1987; those older readers may remember this night from the great storm…. Yup just me arriving into the world)
Anyway I wasn’t really fussed on a big celebration this year, having 15 month and 3 month old means life’s pretty hectic so a chilled out family weekend was in order. Continue reading Birthday Blog
I told you all at the beginning that this blog would be fun, fails and everything inbetween. Well I feel it’s time for a fail. I imagine every parent has them, that moment when you really want the parenting police to come and take you away and put you in a very dark room!
Since have my babies, I have come to realise how very lucky we are. ❤️
Unfortunately this is not the case for all families with so many facing struggles of illnesses and heart ache.
This year I am doing a collection of advent calendars and small toys to be delivered to poorly children battling cancer and life long illnesses.
This may not seem much but it takes a small amount of pressure off their families, who are already facing emotional and financial turmoil. The collection will be shared between children at Medway Hospital battling cancer treatment and children with life long illness at the Demelza Hospice in Sittingbourne. Now I would really appreciate all your help with this as want to get as many as possible. Small toys can be picked up from Wilko, Asda, anywhere like that and advent calendars are as cheap as a £1!🎅🏻❤️❤️
I would like them collected by the 27th of November to give us time to arrange delivery.
This really is a small thing we can do just to bring a little bit of joy to these children’s and their families. 🎁🎁🎅🏻🎅🏻
(Please share with friends and family)
